The Leading SAFe® certification needs to be renewed every year. The following are the requirements that need to be met before renewal. A minimum of 10 continuing education/outreach hours (PDUs) have to be added each year. You will also need to pay $100 to extend the credential for an additional year, it starts from the date of your current expiration.
You will have to Log in to the SAFe Community platform using your credentials. Then click on the "Renew" button next to your certification (located at the top of the homepage). No, there is no re-evaluation. If you fail, you will have to retake the exam.
The first exam has to be taken within 30 days of course completion. Each subsequent retake attempt costs $50. The second exam attempt can be done immediately after the first attempt. The third attempt has a 10-day waiting period and for the fourth attempt there is a 30-day waiting period.
