How to deploy apps to alpha, beta or production channels in Google Play.
After testing your apps with developer Preview 5 you should update to Google play soon. Android N is recommending for compiling against, and optionally targeting, API 24 and then publishing to your alpha, beta, or production channels in the Google Play Developer Console. By using Google Play’s beta testing feature to get immediate feedback from small group of users--- developer preview users are developed – staged rollout is done as Android releases the updated versions to all users.
Getting Developer Preview 5
If the user is already enrolled in the Android beta program then his/her device will get the Developer preview 5 update right away. User’s can easily get started with the Developer’s preview even if they are not enrolled in Android Beta just by visiting android.com/beta and opt-in his Android phone or tablet. The Nougat developer preview is available for Nexus 6, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9 and pixel c devices, as well as General Mobile 4G devices.
