Google Plans Android Development Training For 2 Million Developers In India

Google has got big news for Developers in India. The news has been confirmed by the Google Officials, “Google is going to train 2 million Developers on its Android Platform”. The tech giant is much aware of the fact that it can get high quality talent in the country. India is expected to have the world’s largest developers population surpassing U.S by 2018. Google doesn’t want to lose the opportunity on getting brilliant minds working for them. India is the home for one million developers working on android platform but only 25% of this population is building for mobile, Google Vice President Product Management Caesar Sengupta said. Aiming to help India becoming global leader in Mobile Apps, Google is now going to launch the specially-designed instructor-led training program on Android Fundamentals. These courses will be available be made available very soon in public and private universities along with training institutes of the National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC). Apple has also shown interest in creating its mark on the developers in India. The company has decided to setup its software laboratory in Bangalore for supporting startups and developers working on its iOS platform. Google has now partnered with many universities and it has also got in touch with some good training institutes for Android Development. These training institutes will work as Authorized Android Training Partners in India. Officials have also reported that now Google is also to launch a job-oriented associate android developer certification. The certification can be achieved if the person passes the performance-based exam and this will help the candidate to get a job as Android Developer. After training, candidate can start working with Google.
