Apple has introduced its new standalone support application to the U.S. market now. The new app called as 'Apple support', is capable of doing lots of things such as scheduling appointments and calls with Apple Support technician, accessing product documentation, managing emails and even supports chat. The new app will centralize all the information which can be accessed in a streamlined way, making it easier to use customer support.
One of the noticeable features of the app is that it will be personalized to each user, making it possible to recognize all the devices which have been registered in user’s iCloud account, in case you forgot the model of the new iPhone you just bought. This will be more helpful when contacting support as the time required to know the product details will be reduced and users will also get the support documentation that is available for their particular device.
Users will be able to see the history of their support case and will be able to chat with the Apple service expert within the app. The app can also help users to find the nearest authorized service provider for their devices.
The app has been released in the perfect time of the year, where users will be getting their new iPhones for the first time. Apple also stated that the app will be released for other countries in the coming weeks. Users can download it here.
