Google is all set to introduce its new Google+ with more than 50 updates. Some of the big changes are image comments, joining G Suite family, introducing powerful tools for community moderators. These changes will work across all the platforms including Android, iOS, and the web.
Now low-quality comments will be hidden. The new Google+ will show only those comments which matter to the user. Although if a user wants to see all the comments he/she can do that by clicking on “View more comments”.
Now images in Google+ will be using entire screen space showing less white space to the user. Zoom functionality has also been added to Google+ web to increase the visibility of high-quality pictures shared.
From 24th January, users will be able to create and join events on Google+ web. There is a lot more advancements yet to come in Google+. Events have not come for G Suite till now. From Google Official Blog, “it’s time to say goodbye to classic Google+ on the web, which we’ll be turning down on January 24.” Let’s see how people are going to react on the new updates and whether it is going to make any difference in current usage of Google+.
