New Initiatives To Boost Artificial Intelligence In India by Intel

On 4th April 2017, Intel announced that they will be taking initiatives to boost Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India. The global chip makers are making use of AI in various sectors by bringing all the customers and partners across the country together.     "Our developer education program will educate 15,000 scientists, developers, analysts and engineers on AI technologies, including Deep Learning and Machine Learning in India," said Intel South Asia Managing Director Prakash Mallya.       Artificial Intelligence makes the computer think faster and intelligently with more predictable results when compared to a human mind. AI being the main workload in all the data centers which operate along with Moore’s Law is relatively doubling every year.     It is estimated that by 2020 the industry experts will processes data analytics which is used to build applications. Around 97% data centers run on AI workloads which are flexible. Intel is targeting on telecom, e-commerce, and BFSI across big data, internet of things and high-performance computing.
