Seebo and IBM have collaborated to bring both the platform together i.e, IBM Watson Internet of Things (IoT) and Seebo. Combining Seebo’s IoT development capabilities that are easy-to-use along with IBM’s platforms like Bluemix and IBM Watson IoT Platform, these two organizations can claim and allow manufacturers for advancing the distribution of smart products and gaining the insights from the user’s data.
As the number is increasing of manufacturers connecting their products to IoT for enhancing their product’s value and boost up their revenue. The development of smart products is complex that includes hardware design, firmware, and parallel software, they are also coming up with new production considerations and new designs - often discourage manufacturers from coming up with different innovations over IoT. The collaboration of Seebo’s platform SaaS along with IBM’s Watson IoT Platform will over these complexities. This collaboration provides manufacturers for accessing the tools that help in building smart products faster, efficiently and with economic friendly and also with out-of-box connection with the cloud.
Neil Postlethwaite ,IBM Watson IoT Platform director said ”Seebo offers a unique set of tools that enable quick time to market for new IoT products in this fast-growing space. IBM sees this collaboration as one which will enable clients to rapidly design and develop their IoT products; while also having the ability to use cognitive capabilities from IBM's IoT and Watson services.”
