TCS and Siemens now collaborating for developing Industrial IoT Services

Recently two of the IT giants, TCS and Siemens have collaborated for better innovations in Industrial Internet of Things services. The partnership is focused to further develop Mindsphere, the cloud-based open IoT operating systems from Siemens. The collaboration is focused on the customers in manufacturing, energy, building technology, healthcare and railway industries. With the partnership, TCS will also be supporting developments around MindConnectNano, the Cloud gateway used for connecting production to the cloud-based analysis of machine and production data. “We’ve been collaborating with Siemens on technology innovation for several years and this latest development will enable our customers to make major strides in IoT innovation. With the MindSphere agreement we will intensify our partnership and support our customers as they realize the opportunities presented by digital innovation. Our clients will not only benefit from expertise in application development and systems integration but also from first hand experience of the platform development.”, said Milind Lakkad, EVP and Global Head of Manufacturing at TCS. Both the companies will also be exploring MindSphere core platform implementation in different areas including- operation and support service, application and infrastructure management, and analytical and testing services. Along with MindSphere applications, TCS is also offering analytical and digital services that can reduce downtime, maintenance-related costs, and energy consumption, while increasing the lifetime of their machinery.
