PSPO Certification Process

  • Step 1:  Take the 16-hour PSPO certification training

  • Step 2:  Attempt the PSPO I exam by Scrum.org and score at least 85%

  • Step 3:  On passing the PSPO exam download the certificate and become a certified Professional Scrum Product Owner

No, there are no prerequisites for this course. A basic knowledge of Scrum concepts would be beneficial though not mandatory. 

PSPO Certification

PSPO certifications are offered by Scrum.org, a globally recognized body responsible for issuing Scrum certifications.  

You have to take the PSPO I exam to get certification. Taking the course is not mandatory but it is recommended to develop an understanding of the topics that you will be quizzed on. 

Once you have a PSPO certification, you can set your sights on the PSPO II and the PSPO III Certifications which are more challenging and deal with more advanced concepts and require a greater deal of mastery. 

Once you complete your training, you will get your login from Scrum.org through email. 

Yes, you will receive a course completion certificate once you complete the training.

Once you complete your 16-hour training, you will get access to the exam link. On passing the exam you will be immediately able to download your PSPO I Certificate 

PSPO Exam

The PSPO exam contains 80 multiple-choice questions. It is scheduled for an hour and you will require 85% marks to pass the exam. 

No, the exam is easy to pass. Our comprehensive training is designed to enable you to pass on your first attempt.    

On completing the course, you will receive the link and key as an email from Scrum.org.  

No, you must finish the exam within the allotted 60 minutes. If you have any technical trouble or close the window accidentally, you will still be able to continue from where you stopped. If the technical problem persists for a long time then you can send a mail to support@scrum.org to have a new test.   

No, there is no re-evaluation available. You have the option to attempt the exam for two more times within 14 days tough. 

You will get two additional attempts which have to be taken within 14 days of receiving your key at no extra cost.  

Course Experience

The course is delivered through live and interactive instructor-led training sessions. 


You will be able to listen, learn, and ask questions, to get all your doubts clarified from your instructor, who will be an experienced practitioner. 

All our classes are currently online. The online course is divided into several sessions of short durations.  


The in-person classes are for two days with eight hours of session on each day.  

The instructor will be PSTs with experience in Scrum and in training the PSPO course material. They are also subject matter experts, active in product related roles.  

Most of the class time is dedicated to exercises, discussions, and team collaboration, all facilitated by the PST who is an experienced in Scrum. The course will focus on practical solutions to real-world product scenarios.  

You will need an internet browser and a tool like MS Word or notepad with windows or an equivalent environment and a fast internet connection. 

Yes, the course material will be provided in advance. You will receive an email with a link to set your password, a few days in advance to course start date. This will give you access to the study plan and all the course materials. 

The course material will include the course schedule, workbooks, assignments, assessments, and several case studies. 

The sessions would be auto recorded subject to permission by Scrum.org and the PST. You will have a lifetime access to the video recordings of training sessions. 

No, you should not attend training through a phone or tab. Please join the training on a laptop or desktop.  

If you get disconnected during the training, you will be able to re-join within half-an-hour, subject to accreditation body guidelines and instructor’s preference. 

Our training sessions are currently held online. Anyone with a stable internet, from anywhere across the world, can access the PSPO training and benefit from it.   

We will send you a registration link through e-mail. You will get to set your password, log in to our platform, and start your learning journey. 

If you miss a class, you will be able to access the class recordings at any time. At the start of every session, there will also be a 10-12-minute recap of the previous class.  

No, this will be a live and interactive instructor-led training session during which you will be trained by accredited trainers.   

We are currently using the Zoom platform for video conferencing. All the sessions and recordings will be available right from our learning platform.    

Yes, there are other participants who actively participate in the class. They remotely attend the online sessions from office, home, or any place of their choosing.

No, unfortunately the exam fee will not be refundable. 

Yes, you can change you start date provided there is at least a 24-hour prior notice and the availability of other batches.

Yes, you can get group discounts. The larger your group, the more discount you could get.
